How do I setup my Rowan employee email on my Apple device?

Note: These instructions are for faculty.

  1. On the Home screen, tap Settings
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Microsoft Exchange.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • Type RowanADS in the Domain field.  
    • Type your Rowan employee email address (i.e. smithj@rowan.edu) in the Email field. 
    • Type your Rowan username (i.e. smithj) in the Username field. 
    • Type Rowan Exchange in the Description field.
  6. Tap Next
  7. Your Apple iOS device (i.e. iPhone, iPod or iPad) will try to configure your e-mail. You may receive the following error message, Exchange Account Verification Failed.
  8. Type exchange.rowan.edu in the Server field.
  9. Tap Next.
  10. Select the options you want to view on your device and tap Save.
