Ten-month faculty who wish to prepare their Fall course shells in June may submit a request before June 28, 2024 to have a Provisional Course shell created. Provisional Course shells will provide 10-month faculty with the ability to prepare for the fall semester within the contract expirations timeframe. If you are not a 10-month Rowan University faculty member, or if you miss the early provisional course period, then you can follow the standard procedure for course export which becomes available Aug 1st.

Prepping a Provisional Course
While preparing your provisional course for Fall 2024, consider the various types of content that are often time consuming to create and are needed during the first few days of the semester, such as the creation of assessments and supplemental learning materials. When Fall 2024 courses become available, faculty may make a new request to support@rowan.edu to have content copied from their provisional course to their Fall course shell.
